Ethan is a retired professional soccer player who competed and won in Survivor-Africa. He went on to compete in several other reality programs. In addition to his television career he co-founded Grass Roots Soccer, a foundation that helps to teach, mobilize and inspire youth in developing countries to live healthier lives.
